Renovation and Addition
(Completed August 2007) Total Area: 52,000 square feet This project featured extensive renovations to the existing 52,000 sf elementary school as well as a new 18,000 sf addition, and was constructed under occupied conditions during the academic year. The project was phased as required to accommodate the daily school operations. Construction also several envelope improvements, including removal and replacement of the existing roof system, and new natural light monitoring wells. The project also included a state-of-the-art media center, and introduced several technology improvements to the school community. Site improvements with the project included expansion of the parking area and development of revised internal traffic flows which reduced congestion and improved pedestrian safety. |
