Renovation and New Construction
(Completed August 2013) Construction Cost $20,820,100 CM at RISK Total Area: 37,000 sf Addition: 118,000 sf Renovation This project involved the construction of a 37,000-sf addition, and 118,000 sf phased renovation of the 1950’s original school building while the campus was occupied and in operation. The addition provided a new main entrance as well as new cross-connecting glass corridors dramatically improved student circulation. The new addition also includes a new media center, musical suite, administrative offices, science laboratories and a new elevator. The Renovation included a comprehensive, multi-phased renovation of the classrooms, cafeteria, and gymnasium / locker rooms. The athletic complex included the construction of a fully synthetic turf field, along with 6-lane running track and associated lighting. Work also included restoration of two additional natural turf fields adjacent to the synthetic turf surface. |
