New Construction
(Opened June 2008) Construction Cost: $8,700,000 Total Area: 20,500 GSF Designer: Kaestle Boos Associates, Foxborough, MA Contractor: Bufftree Building Company, Inc. This project consisted of the construction of a new Police Station connected to the existing fire station. The main entrance and conference room, as well as dispatch spaces are shared by both departments. Features of the new facility include a 2-bay sally port, maintenance garage, a large training room, fitness and locker rooms for both male and female officers. The police station offers an efficient floor plan providing efficient circulation, while maintaining the necessary separation of public, police administrative functions and secure prisoner areas. |
