Renovation and Addition
(Completed September 2012) Total Area: 8,000 square feet This project featured a small addition to, as well as an extensive renovation of the existing Diesel Shop area, transforming it into a new Life Science vocational teaching area. Existing vehicle lifts and mechanical equipment was removed from the 8,000 SF diesel workshop. Walls were reconfigured, to provide teaching spaces for various life science classroom and clinic areas, to support their growing Dental Technician and Medical Technician Programs. A small addition was added to provide space for a large group instruction area with seating for 50. Technology improvements included digital projection in each of the classroom spaces, as well as dental and health science equipment throughout the instructional and clinical teaching areas. |
