New Construction
(Completed 2019) Total Area: 150,000 sq. ft. Construction of 150,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art sports complex. This property features two professional-sized ice rinks, an aquatics center, an indoor turf field house and an elevated walking track. This project included a pre-engineered building with custom metal panel façade on a challenging site which required Rammed Aggregate Piers (RAP’s) to stabilize and improve the bearing capacity of the soils. An additional challenge was dewatering the site in order to build the pools. Due to local requirements, the groundwater was extracted through several well points around the site and directed to a state-of-the-art filtration system to provide pure drinking quality water that was then diverted and pumped into Morses Pond. |
